On the 8th July, the Medina Valley Centre hosted its first triathlon. Organised by Lymington based Action for Charity, the event had over two hundred participants, who in teams of four cycled 72km, walked or ran 20km and finished with a paddle in a canoe on the River Medina. An early start followed an amazing centre breakfast and Chef Martyn and his team were on hand with a tasty barbeque at the end. In all, a fantastic total of £60,000 was raised for the children’s charity Action Medical Research. Congratulations to all the riders, walkers, runners and paddlers!
