New wildlife trail

The Green Gym, linked with the Footprint Trust have been hard at work at the Medina Valley Centre this last month.

Amongst other tasks, the Green Gym helped us in setting up our new wildlife trail by putting in posts from the recently felled Monterey Pine, which had been damaged by the winter snow.

Many thanks to all at the Green Gym for all your hard work!

Sailing Instructors Training & Canoe Assessment

Due to work commitments our external Canoe Coach has had to change the dates for the 2* training/assessment to the w/end of April following the Instructor briefing.

We will have water at the Centre between 12-1800 on Saturday 3rd April and 13-1800 on Sunday 4th April (Easter Sunday), but may go elsewhere if necessary.

Please do not forget to get back to me with your attendance over this period by Friday this week. If you cannot make the briefing then let me know your availability for the Summer a.s.a.p.

Wanted BCU Level 2 Canoe Coach

We are seeking to appoint a BCU Level 2 Canoe Coach to cover the School Summer holidays.
You will be mainly running Introductory half-day sessions on the River Medina, using sit-on kayaks and/or open canoes.

The ability to coach up to 2 star would be useful, in order to help train some of our sailing instructors.
