Facilities available for groups visiting the Centre

Meeting Rooms

We have four rooms that can be used for meetings:

• the lounge, which seats up to 70 people for a conference style meeting, or relaxation, has direct access to riverside lawns
• 3 additional lecture rooms are suitable for groups of up to 20 people.

Each room is equipped with a data projector, whiteboard and OHP. We also have facilities to project DVDs.

Dining Room

The separate dining room, which boasts beautiful views of the river, caters fully for up to 80 people. All meals are home-cooked by our excellent catering staff.

 

 

 

Sample Menus

2 course meal Italian Sausage Plait in puff pastry or Lamb Koftas stuffed with Feta Cheese or Vegetable and puff pastry Strudel All served with yoghurt and mint sauce, roasted new potatoes and a seasonal salad • Cardamom Custard Tart with crème fraiche Tea and Coffee

3 course meal Butternut squash and roasted IOW garlic soup served with a chilli corn bread or Prawn cocktail with home made bread or Bacon salad with IOW soft cheese and cranberries, served with home made bread • Braised Beef in rich beer jus with horse radish cream or Chicken breast stuffed with Mozzarella cheese and sundried tomatoes with white wine and caper sauce or Pan fried field and forest mushrooms baked on a flat puff pastry tart with crumbled Cropwell bishop stilton. • Fresh pear shortcake with crème fraiche or Home made Raspberry Pavlova, or My Mum's Bavarian Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream or Strawberry, peach and ginger Crumble with custard

 

We are a non-smoking, no alcohol venue but if you have exclusive use of the centre you can bring your own wine for special meals.

Residential Accommodation

Residential accommodation is available for up to 80. Accommodation is basic and bedrooms consist of either twin beds or two bunk beds, a washbasin and a wardrobe. En-suite facilities are available in four rooms, otherwise separate male and female showers and bathrooms are on the corridor. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests.

Games and Computer Access

There are two computers with free broadband internet access available and we have a wirless network that you can use during your visit.  In the lounge there is a selection of board games, books; table football and a pool table.  In our grounds there is equipment to play basketball, patanque and other outdoor team games.
