How to get to the Centre

Medina Valley Centre is in a stunning, riverside location on the beautiful Isle of Wight. We are about 2 km north of Newport, giving us easy access to all parts of the Island.

From Portsmouth

There are regular trains to Portsmouth Harbour station from a variety of locations, giving easy access to Wightlink’s high-speed passenger ferry service (just a short walk along the platform). There is also a large coach and bus station in Portsmouth just a short walk from the ferry. This high-speed ferry service takes you to Ryde Pierhead.

Wightlink also operates a vehicle ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne.

Hovertravel also operates a regular crossing from Southsea to Ryde Seafront.

From Southampton

There is a free bus service that runs from Southampton Central train station direct to Red Funnel's high-speed passenger service to Cowes and Red Funnel's vehicle ferry to East Cowes.

From Lymington

Wightlink operates a vehicle ferry from Lymington, in the New Forest to Yarmouth.

Isle of Wight

For school groups, we can arrange transport to meet you at the ferry terminal and bring you to the Centre
