We recently enjoyed a fantastic week with Queen’s Gate School year 5s. The girls had a huge number of opportunities to explore, discover and conserve Island habitats and wildlife as part of their work towards the John Muir Award. Every day brought them new experiences, from sharing our lunchtime with a foxy friend up on the West High Down, to becoming ‘below stairs’ servant girls at Osbourne House! The MVC staff were impressed by how well the girls got stuck in to activities that pushed them outside their normal comfort zone – especially in the handling of a wide variety of creatures at the Bembridge Rocky shore!
Thank you Queen’s Gate for a truly memorable week!Back to latest news
